I have recently gotten a contract to become a proffessional animator for a company in Waxahachie, which is roughly an hour away from where I currently live. This job is asking me to show up for work no later than 8:30 in the morning, so obviously this plus the time it takes to get there means that I’m going to need to adjust my sleep schedule. 

What does this mean to YOU? Well, I’m glad you asked, me pretending to me someone reading this! 

This means that ALL NIGHT CHALLENGES WILL BE MOVED UP ONE HOUR! So from now on, every night challenge will be at 9 PM instead of 10 PM!

Hello! I’ve been tossing around an idea lately about the challenges and how they come about. You’ve got a ton of people who have ideas of themes and/or characters they would like to see us make challenges of, but there are only two challenges each week, and the only people that have any chance at getting an idea drawn are the people who are able to make it into the stream. I thought, “how could I make this more accessible? 

So I came up with this! 

Ideas:

Do you have an idea of a topic to be drawn in the challenge but can’t make it to the stream? Send it into the inbox! This way we can constantly be taking ideas instead of being limited to the sole person who won the guessing game.

So what happens when we have a clump of ideas? Well this is where the next part comes in!

Livestreams:

As all of you know, the challenge is first announced in the stream through the involvement of the people who pop in. What will happen NOW is that we will take 3/5/10 of the ideas sent in, assign numbers to them, and put them up into the stream at X:52 PM CST for people to vote on them. This way the Livestream AND user participation are still relevant!

Wildcards

Not avaliable Sunday nights or Wednesday afternoons? That’s where Wildcard challenges come into play! Simply put, we take the ideas that didn’t win the vote, assign numbers to them, take a random number generator and make a challenge out of that idea! The only downside being no voting and no livestreams.

We’re currently looking at having Wildcards on Monday nights at 11 PM CST and Friday nights at 10 PM CST. BUT if we get enough ideas from you guys, we could have more wildcards! 

Our first test of this format is TOMORROW at 4 PM CST!
